ABOUT ME

I am a writer and editor with decades of experience in the South African media. I worked for the Mail & Guardian for 30 years, and have just spent five years as News24's books editor. At the M&G I did everything from arts and books writing to editing the opinion section. I've done a bit of radio and podcasting too, and have been involved in the publication of many books, as writer, editor, co-editor or just wrangling other people's text into shape.
